The best part about living down under is the fact that Fashion spring arrives a season late. We the privileged get to observe the trends that the design houses predicted and how it actually translated into everyday life. We get to learn from their mistakes, all the chic without any of the faux pas! It doesn’t get any better, fashionably speaking.

pinkoveralls Neon

Rag & Bones’s neon green created a splash when it hit the runway but did it thrive?  The best part about metallic, citron pop, cobalt blue and shocking pink overalls is that they make a bold statement, no need for any extras.

Kenzo urban jungle

Urban jungle looks; brightly colour shorts with exposed midriff seemed to dominate the runways. Sportswear theme was big in NY, London and Milan.

Suits:

Oversized coats, tux inspired suits in black to create the sophisticated and tough but sexy looks. Giorgio Armani offered his version that was shorter and more layered.

Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant’s Polynesian inspired line is definitely a winner.

Tomas Maier

There was a demure tone with Tomas Maier’s forties inspired floral cotton dresses.

Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti’s line-up of lace, fringe and frills was a big hit with the romantic hearted.

victoria beckham

Victoria Beckham failed to disappoint with her classy ensembles.

Author, blogger, philosopher and mother of three. I ruminate over things that disturb me, write about things that inspire me and blog about things that tend to annoy me. I love life and it saddens me to think that there are so many people out there, unhappy and stressed. I hope that my writings and stories will help ease a little of that.
